The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

The SOS Children's Village Saar is a combination of social help. These include six fully-stationary offers in the form of children's village families and housing groups. There is also a crèche, the multigeneration house Merzig, the afternoon care at two secondary schools and two social-spatial youth assistance offers. Our stationary area is characterized by an above-average staff key and low group size.

For our SOS Children's Village Saar we are looking for a group service at the next possible time Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full time or part-time (min. 30 - max. 38.5 hours/Where.)

Our crib sunshine offers 22 seats for children aged 8 weeks to 3 years, divided into two groups. Our opening hours from 7:00 to 17:00 allow flexible support. A special focus of our pedagogical work is on the natural connection: We spend a lot of time in forest and field to give children valuable experiences in and with nature. We also promote the independence of children, offer psychomotoric offers and diverse musical activities.

Your tasks: individual care & related care: You accompany our youngest with a lot of empathy and promote a secure connection to the caregivers Attention to children's rights & participation: You pay attention to children's participation and enable them to actively shape their world Support in all areas of education: You offer stimulating activities that support the cognitive, social, motor and creative development of children need-oriented handling: You meet the individual needs of the children and design the daily routine accordingly systematic observation & documentation: You observe child development in a targeted manner and document progress towards the best possible promotion of each individual child natural pedagogy: You use the natural environment as a learning room and motivate the children to explore and discover Music and movement offers: You implement musical and psychomotoric offers to playfully promote the development of children Parent work & team work: You maintain an open, appreciation exchange with parents and work together collegially in the team economic activities: You take over household tasks in everyday life and create a clean and welcoming environment together with the children Responsibility & child protection: You implement the legal requirements for the protection of children and persons and ensure the well-being of children
