ls IT Support Engineer (m/w/d) takes over the professional team management of the local IT team and reports to the responsible IT manager. They take over the administration, maintenance and, above all, the expansion of an extensive, complex and heterogeneous IT network infrastructure. In addition to supporting the operational area and its day-to-day business, you are the primary contact for all IT relevant projects in cooperation with management and take over planning as well as documentation and implementation. The IT environment to be supported is composed of local components as well as cross-site services in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud. In a very dynamic, growing and flexible environment with a lot of automation and innovation potential, you work with international colleagues on extensive projects. New technologies - such as Amazon Robotics - ensure a variety, a constant challenge and offer corresponding further development possibilities.

Among other things, your activity includes:

• Administration and development of network infrastructure (cables, switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi)
• Planning, operation and maintenance of the local data center
• Administration and expansion of client and server landscape
• Monitoring of IT infrastructure
• Administration of user accounts, computers and access rights in Microsoft Active Directory
• IT project management and management of IT infrastructure installations at new Amazon locations
• Coordination of external service providers in projects
• Second level support of client, server, network and telecommunications systems
• Support, advice and training of users
• Performance of IT readiness
• Planning and implementation of critical IT infrastructure changes (Change Management)
• Creation, organization and optimization of IT documentation
• IT support and escalation management based on defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• IT asset management, planning and procurement of IT hardware
• Ensure and Communication of Group-wide IT Security Policy

QUALIFICATIONS For this position we expect:

• A completed study with a focus on information technology or comparable IT vocational training with corresponding professional experience
• Advanced knowledge in handling all common network and Internet protocols
• Experience in the administration of heterogeneous network environments with Microsoft Windows and Linux based clients and servers
• Experiences and knowledge in and about the methods and instruments of IT project management
• Personal computer (PC) and server hardware identifiers
• Experience in IT Asset Management and Purchasing
• Proactive, independent and solution-oriented operation
• Above-average level of service and customer orientation
• Flowing language skills in German, reliable English
• readiness to travel national and international
• driving licence: class B

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Required qualifications:

• Standard industry certifications such as Cisco (CCNA, CCNP), Microsoft (MCP, MCSE), Linux (LPIC-1, LPIC-2)
• Professional experience from a very dynamic and growing IT environment
• Multiannual IT Professional experience in logistics or commercial centres
• Experience with standard IT processes
