As an internal service provider with a cross-sectional function, the Central Administration department is responsible for financial, personnel and property matters in the house and for the ten regional state libraries of Bavaria.

Your tasks:

• takeover of pawn services, e.g.
• Information from visitors, employees, users and external companies
• Monitoring of visitor and vehicle traffic
• Output of closing media
• central acceptance of telephone calls
• Implementation of opening, closing and control steps in the indoor and outdoor areas
• Monitoring and security outside opening hours
• Operation and control of extensive technical installations, installations, in case of damage, initiate first emergency measures
• implementation of support tasks for other fields, e.g. light mastery activities

Your profile:

• first experience in the door or guard service
• Certificate of Inquiry or Teaching in accordance with § 34 a GewO (or you are ready for further training)
• ideally a degree to the qualified specialist for protection and safety (IHK) or a technical or commercial training

In addition, you have:

• unrestricted suitability for shiftwork in three-shift working hours
• friendly and helpful handling of public transport
• independent working with a simultaneous capacity for team work and communication
• well-maintained and binding occurrence as well as the readiness to take over physically and mentally strenuous activities
• Identification with the tasks of a library and its use
• good knowledge of German in word and writing (at least B2 level) and general IT skills
