The special IT department provides the necessary critical IT infrastructure and complex applications – from network control to the optimization of power imbalances in Europe – all this from its own state-of-the-art data center in Wendlingen. They are responsible for the provision and IT operation of highly available data couplings, including with European transmission system operators. They project new data couplings and conduct change and release management in cooperation with internal and external partners. They monitor the data couplings and ensure the quality of service provision. They ensure second level support and participate in changing call readiness.

You have completed your studies in computer science, business informatics or information technology or a comparable training and have collected first experience in the field of data couplings/process interfaces (Protocols IEC 60870-5-101, IEC 60870-5-104 and TASE.2). They have knowledge of IP networks as well as in transmission technology and had first contact points for measurement and analysis tools such as Fink, Wireshark and FNT Command for the analysis and documentation of system landscapes. They have a high affinity for critical processes and systems and know the relevance of an operation in the KRITIS environment. They are capable of being implemented and are characterized by an independent, analytical and process-oriented method. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
