Cloud-native technologies and critical infrastructure requirements go hand in hand. That makes this job interesting for me: The role of IT security architect is based in an IT security enablement team with other colleagues. This team empowers and strengthens the product development teams for the network control system of the future. As an IT security architect, I also define the security strategy of product development, establish security-by-design principles and secure the methodical anchoring of IT security in the development processes. My tasks and priorities advice from Solution Architects on IT security requirements and support in the development of secure solution architectures; translation of abstract IT security requirements in architectural concepts, active cooperation in the standardisation of IT security concepts in the development process and the ability of the product development team to apply them; active cooperation in the further development of the secure software development lifecycle and the associated tools, Standardized development of Secure-by-Design principles and Threat-Modeling, supporting the further development of security champions and sharing knowledge to my priorities, Verification of the correct implementation of safety-relevant aspects in architectures and support for quality assurance in monitoring them.

Completed studies, ideally in computer science or comparable STEM discipline, professional experience in IT security architectures in software development and DevOps, Advanced understanding of cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, experience with agile development processes, analytic and solution-oriented thinking and a high sense of responsibility, convincing communicative skills and team orientation, experience in the application of AI-based tools in a professional context, German language skills (C1 level) and at least good English skills (B2 level) in word and writing. No need, but of advantage professional experience in the OT and/or KRITIS environment, Good knowledge of containerization / Kubernetes / DevOps, C#, Python, Java, Basic experience with the ISO/IEC-27001 standard family.
