Senior Data Scientist in Münster (m/f/d)

You are a professional: As a Senior Data Scientist (m/w/d), you support the holistic project development according to CRISP-DM. In addition, you will accompany innovative projects in research and development, for example in the fields of GenAI or LLM. Planning and data processing: After the request analysis, you build a profound understanding of data and process through explorative analyses. Modeling: Based on this, you select appropriate algorithms and deliver answers to optimization issues. Scaling and Operationalization: You are responsible for scaling and ensuring performance with increasing data volumes and complexity. Implementation: After successful evaluation, you make the findings available transparently and promote their seamless integration into the operating process. Hand in hand: Together with the IT development team and other specialist departments, you design the continuous optimization and further development of the projects and make them available to the benefiters.

Best condition: You have a completed study with data science focal points (informatics, business informatics, mathematics, or economics with IT focus) or a comparable qualification acquired through many years of professional experience. Professional experience: You already have several years of professional experience in the application of machine learning, data science and statistical methods Good knowledge: You have a well-founded knowledge of a programming language from the Data Science environment (Python or R) as well as good knowledge in handling large datasets and databases (e.g. SQL, Hadoop, Spark). Scaling and Operationalization: You already have experience in scaling and operation of machine learning models or data-driven projects at company level Know-How: You bring a deep understanding of statistical modeling, algorithms and experimental design and already have practical experience in working with distributed systems and optimizing models for use in scalable, production-related environments. Leadership skills: Ideally, you already have experience in managing projects and teams. Data visualization: You already have experience in visualizing data and creating dashboards (e.g. with PowerBI). Analytical thinking: With your structured approach and your analytical ability, you lay the foundation for your success. With your heart, you are enthusiastic and interested in working in new technologies and topics. Language skills: You speak fluent German in word and writing.
