Head of Surveillance (m/f/d)

Guidance and control of the ''Surveillance'' objectives with regard to economic aspects Developing and ensuring the implementation of the strategy and business plan of the department in line with the division and business strategy including R&D planning and investment budgets Responsible management of the department including the responsibility of the business and business objectives (winning and loss, order intake, free cash flow, etc.) Responsibility for ensuring contract implementation & provision Plan and implement highly complex projects focusing on milestones, project management (time, money and quality) including identification of opportunities and risks as well as claim & change management Discipline management of an international team of project managers and system engineers incl. Resource planning maintain contacts with domestic and foreign customers, define offer strategies Conducting contract negotiations Proactive coordination with internal stakeholders (program / commercial areas, sales, development, production and corporate central functions) Regular information about the status of the area and projects Early recognition and presentation of risks and opportunities, proactive development and coordination of action plans Monitoring contract performance and, where appropriate, performance of subcontractors and clarification of critical escalations Detection and presentation of short, medium and long-term business development Market observations and competitive analyses aimed at developing future markets Takeover of shareholder functions in joint ventures connected to the business segment The readiness to travel regularly is assumed

Completed studies in the field of economic engineering or comparable Multiannual professional experience in the project business for technically complex systems Multiannual experience in program management with international customers PMP certification advantageous Predictive and entrepreneurial thinking (trade as “enterprises”), proactive and critical questions Excellent communication and moderation capabilities Engaged and safe occurrence internally and externally Intercultural competence and ability to manage and motivate a team, negotiating and enforcement capabilities as well as very good communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders Negotiating knowledge of German and English, French and/or Arabic
