In this position, you support the concerns of information security, coordinate appropriate measures, adopt the further development of the information and cyber security strategy at our University of Excellence and actively contribute to effectively protecting the data and systems in research, teaching and administration. Use your expertise to make digital security forward-looking together with us. TUD has established the integrated cooperation of information security and data protection as a unique feature. Therefore, you work with the Data Protection Officer in a team. Your field of activity includes: Advising the Rectorate in all matters of information security Development of the TUD-wide information and cyber security strategy Continuous development and support of the operational operation of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) professional leadership of the TUD-CERT Development of guidelines, KPIs and reporting Investigation and reporting of information security-relevant events Planning, control and implementation of training and awareness-raising measures for the entire university Management of risk management for information security, identification, analysis and assessment of threats and vulnerabilities Management of projects to strengthen IT resilience Coordination of activities to implement recognised requirements of the BSI (Federal Office for Information Security) Identification and introduction of suggestions for improvement to achieve the desired level of information security Involvement in relevant projects and processes, including testing, assessment of safety aspects of information for service providers and new systems, including under Art. 32 GDPR
