Design Engineer - Special Purpose Machinery / SolidWorks (m/f/d)

We're KRÖNING! We are special machine builders with over 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing automation systems and system solutions.

Our employees in the fields of construction, electrical engineering, manufacturing, software as well as assembly implement projects at the Dohna site for large international customers such as Nestlé, Lindt or GlaxoSmithKline. With SolidWorks, you design and develop sophisticated assemblies and complete special machines, especially for the packaging industry and handling systems, and integrate components from robotics and pneumatics. You take over the independent management of customer projects – from the first concept to the technical design to the successful commissioning on site. As a central technical contact, you agree closely with customers, suppliers and internal departments such as purchasing and manufacturing to realize the best solution. You create complete technical documentation, specify the required components and forward the needs for purchasing.

You have successfully completed a degree in mechanical engineering (e.g. with a focus on construction) or a comparable technical training. You bring several years of professional experience in construction, ideally in special machine construction or with handling systems. In dealing with SolidWorks, you are experienced and working independently in new projects; Experience with PDM systems is a plus. With your analytical, solution-oriented way of working and your communicative skills, you can convince in the team and in exchange with customers. You will certainly communicate in German (C1 level) and bring good English skills to your international exchange.
