In the course of the planned establishment of the business unit ZEISS Hunting & Nature, a new independent company is created. Recruitment takes place via ZEISS. The employment itself will take place at the existing independent company. Your role Responsibility for building, further development and implementation of ongoing accounting (main accounting, debitor accounting, creditor accounting and asset accounting) in a group of companies that re-establish themselves after the carve-out

Responsibility for payment for the headquarters in Germany incl. operating company in Germany and group-wide coordination (USA, UK, Denmark, France)

Creation of monthly and annual accounts according to HGB in its own area of responsibility

Implementation of sales/pre-tax pre-registrations, summary reports, pay tax declarations and other relevant reporting obligations

Responsibility for accounts (incl. intercompany) and ensuring a consistent accounting picture of all transactions

Coordination of main and secondary accounts and implementation of delimitation bookings and management of provisions and liabilities

Implementation of ad hoc analyses and preparation of accounting facts

Head office for tax advisors, auditors, authorities (together with commercial management)

Competent respondent in balance-sheet issues for departments and group companies

Representation in debitor and creditor accounting in peak times

Optional/Wünschenwert: Implementation of consolidation of subsidiaries and coordination of intercompany relationships

Optional/Wünchenwert: Regular monitoring of the accounting of subsidiaries in cooperation with local accounting/tax consulting

Optional/Wünchenwert: Implementation of risk mitigation against foreign currencies (USD/GBP/DKK)

Successfully completed commercial training with a focus on accounting, accounting, finance with further development to the balance sheet holder or comparable qualifications (such as Bachelor or Master studies with the focus on finance and accounting)

Multiannual experience in accounting, like in a medium-sized environment, leadership experience would be advantageous

Safe handling of common ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics or SAP R3/S4 as well as a pronounced affinity for digital tools, systems and accounting process relationships

good Excel identifiers; Experience in handling reporting and evaluation tools is advantageous

Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation with high quality standards and view for details

Impressed communication skills, professional appearance and ability to work together with different internal and external stakeholders

Strong Hands-on Mentality
