In your role, you take a central responsibility for the IT infrastructure of our company. You ensure that our IT systems work smoothly and actively contribute to the further development of our IT landscape. Your tasks include: Monitoring and maintenance of IT landscape in the data center Ensuring the availability and performance of servers, networks and storage systems Installation, configuration and management of servers and network systems Implementation of software and hardware upgrades as well as bug analyses and fixes Ensuring data security and implementation of backup strategies System and network integrity monitoring tools Documentation of system configurations, processes and incidents Support in planning and implementing new IT projects 3rd level support for our companies This position offers you the opportunity to work both in presence at our Auxilium sites in Essen, Stuttgart or at the locations of our subsidiaries and is aimed at IT professionals with professional experience who want to work full-time.

For the position as an IT administrator operation central data center (m/w/d), we are looking for a dedicated personality with sound IT experience and a passion for innovative technologies. Ideally, you bring the following skills and skills: A completed training in IT (e.g. specialist system integration) or a comparable qualification. minimum. 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructures, ideally in a data center. Knowledge of server, storage and network technologies such as VMware, Microsoft Server, Linux or SAN/NAS. Practical experience in handling virtualization platforms (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V). Knowledge in the field of network technology, including TCP/IP, VPN, firewall, switches and routers. Experience with monitoring tools and system administration. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and/or Microsoft SQL Server administration. Basic knowledge in data backup and recovery (backup/restore, RAID systems). Confidence with IT security policies and data protection requirements. Impressed problem-solving capabilities and a quick understanding.
