A central asset liability management function (“ALM function”) for the DZ BANK as well as the Group was re-implemented within the DZ BANK Group Controlling. In this context, the vague position for a senior consultant (m/w/d) is located in the asset liability management sector.

• As a senior consultant (m/w/d), you are also responsible for the (further) development of methods and processes in asset liability management as well as in the overall banking control.
• When creating the monthly ALM reporting, analysis of the control codes as well as ad hoc reporting for top management, you take over selected work.
• In addition, you prepare documents for committees with board participation and answer supervisory requests.
• To optimize the resources at the overall level of the bank and the group level, consider and control the ALM key values of capital, balance sheet, liquidity, interest income and risk of the bank book (IRRBB/CSRBB).
• In the course of this, you will develop and implement ad hoc analyses and tools to automate process steps.
• Last but not least, you work across areas with interfaces to treasury, risk controlling, bank finances and subsidiaries.

This will bring you

• Successfully completed studies of mathematics, economics - alternatively a comparable qualification
• Multiannual professional practice in at least one of the fields of asset liability management, treasury, IRRBB / CSRBB, risk controlling / risk management, or in finance and in the overall banking control, optionally supplemented by experience in the (partial) project management *Experience in the overall banking control, e.g. with the control views Economics, risk management, capital management, supervisory law, accounting, performance measurement, overall banking planning
• Used in dealing with stakeholders (top management, treasury, risk controlling, group companies)
• A high degree of self-employment and self-motivation, with a strong team capability
• A clear plus: High technical affinity or Knowledge of data processing and programming (e.g. SQL, VBA, Python, MS Power Platform)
