The SOS Children's Village Kaiserslautern is a combination of differentiated youth assistance offerings that extend over a stationary, outpatient and school-social-working spectrum. More than 18 locations in Kaiserslautern and a team of more than 70 public and voluntary employees can be found in the entire city area of Kaiserslautern. The offers are: two youth groups with 18 seats, ten places of prey, school social work at 14 schools, kita social work at seven kitas, a children's counselling centre, early help with the 'parent' and family occupants, a day group with six places, a parent-child meeting and games and two family-building centres at primary schools.

For our SOS Children's Village Kaiserslautern, we are looking for a Senior Consultant (m/w/d) in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.) Your task: Together with a dedicated team, nine young people aged 12 to 18 will accompany you in our group. You create a reliable everyday life with them, create security and give young people space, trust, bring themselves in and develop their personality. You are part of a team from six colleagues. You will be supported by the household sector as well as by your own team for the night's readiness, so you can focus on the educational support of young people. Support is provided within the framework of shift and weekend services.

You accompany the young people professionally and promote their development. You will make the group everyday alive and create a positive atmosphere. With your use, you develop equity-oriented concepts. You keep a close and value-adding contact with the families of the supervised children and young people. In cooperation with youth offices, schools and networks, you act cooperatively and responsibly. Team meetings and supervisions will help you to reflect and develop your work. You ensure the conscientious implementation of the protection of the children and the professions.

Your qualifications and skills: You have completed training as an educator or educator or a completed educational course. You design relationships professionally and safely deal with proximity and distance. You value participation and actively involve children, young people and families in educational processes. You like to work in the team, get constructive and appreciate the professional exchange. You are ready to make your working time flexible and also work in shiftwork and weekends. Ideally, you already have experience in stationary youth assistance.
