Network Developer and Data Center Specialist (m/f/d)

Ensuring safe, stable and efficient operation of the high-level network and data center infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, data center). Analysis of complex disturbances and continuous optimization of the availability, performance and security of the IT infrastructure. Planning, design and further development of the network and data center infrastructure of all university sites along the overall IT strategy. Planning and implementing technical measures to ensure IT and network security. Analysis of technical and technical requirements of the breakdowns and development of appropriate infrastructure and network solutions. Planning and implementation of infrastructure projects and the introduction of new network and data center technologies. Participation in multi-level projects and working groups, in particular within the framework of the Bavarian Digital Network.

Successfully completed scientific studies (Master / Magister / university degree) of computer science or in a comparable subject. Knowledge and practical experience in operation and further development of LAN, WLAN and data center infrastructures. Good knowledge of modern network technologies, routing and switching methods as well as IT security concepts. Experience in the planning and implementation of complex IT infrastructure projects and the introduction of new technologies. Very good knowledge of virtualization, storage and network automation technologies. Analytical, structured and solution-oriented working methods as well as distinct conceptual skills. Funded knowledge in the field of IT security, in particular to protect network and data center infrastructures. High communication and team skills as well as a service-oriented appearance. Very good German knowledge (min. C1) and very good English knowledge.
