Business Lawyer (m/f/d)

Procurement & procurement: You prepare award procedures in the overseam area and carry out them with the support of the technical department and external lawyers. The company will represent you to the external partners and advise the management. You create and check performance directories and award documents in close coordination with the project management and the technical department. You prepare smaller sub-supply procedures independently and carry out them with the support of the technical department – from the performance description and suitability check to the award decision and award documentation. You coordinate the communication with tenderers, process complaints, prepare follow-up negotiations and support them or conduct them themselves. You develop internal standards, contract patterns and procurement processes. You contribute to the development of professional legal/compliance management. You are available to GKS for procurement and support in the procurement of materials and services. Contract Management & Claim Management: You design and negotiate service contracts and works contracts according to BGB and VOB/B and GU/GÜ contracts with plant builders, engineering offices and service providers. You maintain our contractual catastrophe and monitor deadlines, warranties and guarantees. You create and maintain the legal catastrophe of the company or work with external service providers. You recognize yield risks early and evaluate contractor glues. You create and maintain the claim register and evaluate opportunities and risks for the company You advise business and project management on issues relating to procurement and contract law in the current project everyday. You represent the interests of the company to contractors and external consultants Compliance & Cross-sectional topics: You coordinate, maintain and develop our hindrance protection system according to HinSchG. You take over the ongoing data protection compliance (GDPR/BDSG) in consultation with our appointed data protection officer: processing directories, deletion concepts, data subjects requests. You support the management in auditing, observe relevant regulatory developments and initiate internal adjustment needs in time. You work closely with technology, purchasing, project management/management and management. The awareness and training of colleagues on legal requirements are also your tasks.

Completed studies in economic law (LLB or LLM) – a full lawyer (1st or 2nd state exams) is expressly not required. Practical experience in national and European procurement law, ideally with the sector regulation (SektVO), VgV, VOB/B or comparable regulations. Knowledge of contract law according to BGB and/or VOB/B, acquired in a firm, an industrial company or in the public sector. at least 3 years of relevant professional experience; Experience in claim management is beneficial. Basic knowledge of GDPR/BDSG and hint protection (HinSchG) are welcome, but no settings are required. Structured, independent and solution-oriented operation with a secure sense of contract risks. Communication strength in handling technical project teams, management and external partners.
