Nursing assistant/care worker for outpatient care (qualified and career changers) (m/f/d)

The German Red Cross is a recognized association of free welfare care. It perceives the interests of those who need help and support in order to eliminate social disadvantage, distress and inhumane situations and to improve individual, family and social living conditions.

For our outpatient care service, we are looking for nursing assistants (m/w/d) who preferably have an LG1 qualification or are interested in acquiring it. We accept the costs of training with examination as an employer.

We offer you:

• an always timely and attractive salary payment according to our contract guidelines (including regular tariff increases)

• bonus system and thus monthly up to 40 euros in addition
• 30 days of stay
• Changing time as working time and thus up to 14 paid free days more per year
• no shared services (breakfast service, late service, if necessary Central service, weekends and holidays, no night services)
• preparation of the service plan taking into account the individual situation

Your tasks:

• implementation of primary care activities
• the implementation of simple treatment-care activities of the performance group 1 (Note: the LG1 qualification can be acquired during employment when taking over costs by the DRK KV Chemnitz e. V.)
• expert guidance of care documentation
• Support for patients in everyday management
• Ensuring constructive cooperation with relatives, doctors, supervisors, authorities and social services

Your profile:

• LG1 qualification desirable
• health suitability
• Class B driving licence
• social competence in dealing with older people and their relatives
• Knowledge of quality assurance
• willingness and will to openly represent the principles of the DRC
