A research, technology and transfer unit (RTTU) will be set up at the Stiftung Tierarzthochschule Hannover (TiHo) under the umbrella of the research and transfer service. The aim of this unit is, inter alia, the systematic recognition, protection and exploitation of research results and the strategic positioning of TiHo in the field of IP management and transfer. Your tasks: Establish a consultancy and contact point for researchers on technology transfer issues. Early detection of transfer and recovery potentials and cooperation opportunities from TiHo research work Initiation and support of market and competition analyses focusing on life sciences (Human/Animal Health, Food Science) Further development of TiHo's IP strategy in cooperation with existing structures for the systematic exploitation of TiHo innovations Cooperation with patent administration agencies Establishing and maintaining strategic contacts with industrial partners

Successfully completed relevant university studies (animal medicine, medicine, natural, legal, social sciences or economics or equivalent studies) detectable experience in technology transfer and/or IP management Very good communication skills in German and English (in word and writing) Required expertise and personal skills Experience in project management in the field of technology transfer, preferably in the Life Science area (Human/Animal Health, Food Science) Knowledge of the planning, implementation and evaluation of transfer projects Experience in market analysis and commercialization of research results Good knowledge of the (animal)health market and the (animal)health industry Experience in dealing with patent attorneys, IP service providers and/or transfer networks Impressed communication and consulting skills in dealing with researchers as well as the ability to convey complex IP-relevant topics in an address-oriented and practical manner
