In the team of the Export Control Group and Customs Group, we are responsible for both the ZEISS Group Mother and the strategic ZEISS Business Units in issues relating to external economic law with a focus on German, European and international legislation. In view of the current geo- and trade-political challenges, as well as the design of new and innovative business models, the Team Zoll offers an exciting and varied environment with the aim of successfully distributing ZEISS products worldwide by ensuring compliance in customs law.

Identification and assessment of customs matters

Monitoring the national and international legal development and consultation of affected ZEISS companies

Application and monitoring of customs authorisations (including AEO, simplification of customs duties, special customs procedures) for companies of the ZEISS Group

Own-responsibility assessment of processes for the companies of the ZEISS Group

Supporting projects to define global supply flows with focus on compliance and cost-effectiveness

Implementation of internal training to create customs declarations and special processes

Creation and revision of Directives for internal purposes and for cooperation with customs service providers

Support for customs checks and audits

Maintenance and administration of the customs processing software

a completed study of economic law, business management or a comparable degree

ideally gained experience in customs and foreign trade in the international environment - for example in advice, administration or in the free economy

the ability to analyze complex facts and develop solutions in the team

safe handling of MS-Office

very good knowledge of German and English
