In cooperation with the disciplines, You design the functional, logical and physical system architecture as well as technological concepts for the new and further development of modern steering missiles. You are responsible for interface management: You define and document the intersections between the various subsystems to ensure frictionless integration. You carry out complex technical trade-off analyses (e.g. optimization of weight, energy consumption, performance and life cycle costs) to determine the best possible system configuration. You work closely with the requirements engineering team to ensure that the system architecture fully meets the defined requirements. You act as a technical Sparring partner (m/w/d) for the disciplines involved and accompany the development team in implementing architecture.

You have a completed study of air and space technology, electrical engineering, mechatronics or comparable engineering or natural science, as well as several years of professional experience in the Engineering system in a safety-critical environment (e.g. air travel, defence or automotive). You are characterized by a sound understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and the application of SysML; Experience in dealing with appropriate tools (e.g. Cameo, Enterprise Architect) is an advantage, with the content quality before the pure tool operation. You have a distinct ability to think systemically in order to identify and visualize complex dependencies between subsystems and disciplines. You convince by analytical excellence as well as the professional competence to evaluate technical trade-offs in a sound manner. Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing complete your profile.
