In the area of MB.OS (Mercedes-Benz Operating System) Assistance Systems & Suspension Electrical Engineering/Electronics (E/E) we design the vehicle functions of the future. Autonomous driving, comfortable semi- / highly automated driving functions and sporty agile driving behavior as well as safe driving fun are brought in series in cross-linked teams in the area. The Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) aims to create a uniform hardware and software architecture that enables faster innovations through standardized interfaces and processes. Within our department we are responsible for the control units of the steering and suspension systems. These represent the link between superordinate driving requirements of assistance functions and the core actuators of the vehicle, steering and suspension/damping. Our team suspension electrics/electronics (E/E) is responsible for the development of all spring damper systems. The systems form the combination tension of passive steel suspension and damping up to air suspension with active adjustment damping including active roll stabilization. First practical experience regarding software quality (ASPICE) and software architectures in the automotive environment (AUTOSAR)

These challenges include: Support for agile system and software development

Documentation of processes within functional development

Organisation of internal and external dates in the development process and its logging (e.g. sprint planning)

Development and maintenance of software release plans, agile backlogs and technical documentation (including in Jira/Confluence)

Evaluation and further processing of vehicle measurement data

The activity can begin from September 2026.

Studies of engineering, business informatics, computer science or a comparable degree programme

Knowledge of agile SW development

Good handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Own initiative and reliable and structured operation

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Class B driving licence
