At the Marburg site, we are looking for a specialist in gastroenterology as a leading physician (m/w/d) for an indefinite employment in full-time employment from the closest possible point in time at the Clinic for Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Metabolic and Infectiology. The field of activity includes the tasks of the Deputy Director of the Clinic for Gastroenterology, Endocrinology and Infectiology in Health Care, Teaching and Research. The place is due to the appointment of the current placeholder to a head doctor's position. We address applicants with the focus on gastroenterology with several years of experience as a senior physician in clinical gastroenterology and a scientific focus in gastroenterology. The clinic focuses on the areas of gastrointestinal oncology, pancreatology, chronic inflammatory intestinal diseases, hepatology, interventional endoscopy, sinography and clinical infectiology. Together with the University Hospital of Frankfurt and the KH Northwest, the University Hospital of Marburg forms an overregiona-les oncological centre supported by cancer aid. The clinic coordinates the European Centre of Excellence for Neuroendocrine Tumors Marburg (ENETS Center ofExcellence). The clinic is head of a DFG Clinical Research Group on Pancreatic Carcinoma as well as further DFG, EU and Cancer Aid funded research projects. The UKGM is certified as a family-friendly employer. The remuneration is therefore carried out in accordance with the collective agreement Doctors Hessen.
