Robotics Developer Logistics – Commissioning Walker S2 (m/f/d)

In your function, you assume the technical responsibility for commissioning the Walker S2 robot in one of our logistics centers – from the first connection to integration in real processes Develop first applications, control logics and interfaces to test, expand and adapt the robot's capabilities to our logistical requirements You work in an interdisciplinary manner with the AI team, the Tech Exploration & Robotics team in IT as well as the logistics departments to jointly develop sustainable solutions Also take over the support of the experimental testing of the robot, document findings and derive concrete recommendations for action for operational use. Cooperation with external service providers and manufacturers proactively coordinate you to clarify technical requirements, implement integrations and transfer the robot to productive operation You help to create sustainable operational added value for our logistics from an innovative pilot project – with the aim of integrating the robot in our processes in the long term

A completed study of computer science, robotics, mechatronics or a comparable qualification – alternatively a technical training with corresponding professional experience Funded programming skills in the field of robotics, automation or embedded systems (e.g. ROS, Python, C++) are essential for the project Also the experience in the technical implementation of robotics or automation projects, ideally related to logistics or industrial applications you could already collect Curiosity and joy of experimentation to explore new technologies and develop creative solutions – even though not yet defined.
