Head of Technical Production & Theatre Operations (m/f/d)

You take over the overall responsibility for the production department as well as our central warehouse - and develop the areas strategically and operationally. In doing so, you will lead an eight-headed team of specialist:inside and promote its professional and personal development. Together with Executive Producers, you control technical production structures – from the first concept to budgeting to the final implementation with internal and external partners as well as the creative team. You make sure that time, quality and budget remain in line. You are responsible for the management of the company's own Equipment Pool, assessing investment and rental options, and preparing sound investment decisions for management. As a technical contact for licensors and their creative teams, you will introduce our production perspective and find solutions that make artistic visions feasible. You control technical cooperation with the technical lines and theaters across all ongoing productions and are responsible for the sustainable development of technical standards and processes. When planning and equipping new stage theatres, you will be there from the start and make sure that our stages are technically up-to-date.

You have completed an economic or technical study and brings several years of experience in the production or event environment. Leadership is not a title for you, but attitude: you have already managed teams and understand how to develop and take people. You think analytically and conceptually, keep an overview of complex projects and find pragmatic solutions. Entrepreneurial thinking, organisational strength and innovation joy are yours.
