About us / About our Facility Management: Our facility management is responsible, among other things, for the operation and further development of the technical and infrastructural services on campus, in Düsseldorf. Our focus is on a stable, secure and efficient infrastructure – from technical building equipment to energy and media supply to safety-relevant systems, reception and cleaning services, as well as green care. For our location in Düsseldorf we are now looking for an event engineer (all genders) that strengthens our technology team. Task profile: Organization: Technical planning, preparation and execution of events (meetings, conferences, events). Coordination: Up and down as well as support for audio, video, light and media technology, including operation of mixing consoles, presentation technology, video conferencing systems and, if necessary, Streaming equipment, as well as interpreting technology. Responsibility: Technical support for hybrid and digital event formats. Optimization: bug analysis and troubleshooting during ongoing events as well as support in the further development of modern event technology on campus. Routine: Maintenance, maintenance and inventory of technical equipment. Interaction: cooperation with internal specialist departments and external service providers.

Requirements profile: Training: Complete training as an event technician (all genders) or comparable technical qualification Expertise: Multiannual professional experience in the field of event and media technology desirable. Further knowledge: Good knowledge of audio, video, light and network technology as well as experience with hybrid event formats and, if necessary, Streaming solutions. Features: technical understanding and solution-oriented operation as well as high service orientation and communication capability. Flexibility: readiness to flexible working hours (also occasionally at events in the evening). Communication: German knowledge, good English knowledge of advantage.
