In an 18-month trainee program, we prepare you as a potential provider:in individual, for your future activity. Your varied and demanding trainee program includes a variety of group-wide operations as well as your own tasks in the field of strategy & group development.

The area is responsible for overarching strategic developments in the Group including management and further development of the equity portfolio, including: Analysis of strategic developments in market and competition Processing of Group-relevant strategic topics and projects Strategic development of the Group including participations and strategic management Responsibility for LBBW Group M&A Development and content design of management communication formats Company reviews and transaction management

• From the 1st day you will work on your own tasks in the field of strategy & group development at LBBW - we support you!

• You develop a corporate vision that prepares you for your future tasks in strategy and participation development.

• You analyze market and competition data for identifying business opportunities.

• You evaluate the investment portfolio in terms of content from a corporate strategy perspective and translate it into clear impulses / measures.

• Based on the performance of the holdings, you develop impulses from a corporate perspective.

• You work with cross-sector projects to optimize our business processes and further develop the investment portfolio.

• You also develop concepts and analyses to promote the strategic development of the bank.

• You support us in the development, adoption and implementation of corporate strategies.

• You create self-responsive Excel evaluations and decision templates in PowerPoint that you convince management and board.

• A completed study (Bachelor/Master) serves as the basis for your entry.

• The financial world is not a new country for you. You have already gained valuable experience in financially close areas or strategy consulting through internships or student offices.

• Ideally, you have first experiences in participation management and M&A.

• You translate figures into content impulses and take into account the current market and competitive environment.

• You convince in the selection process with a successfully completed cognitive performance test.

• No matter what the facts are - you have fun to analyze them and to present them briefly, concisely and decision-oriented.

• You set up impulses, you know well with (banking) control, understand business models and bring your entrepreneurial thinking.

• You are interested in economic events, political developments and bringing curiosity to business relationships.

• Whether in German or English - You can communicate safely at all levels (min. level C1) , are open-minded, perform competently and enjoy networking.
