You want to study, link theory and practice optimally, earn money and gain professional experience in an agile working environment? Then a dual study at the IT system house of the Federal Agency for Labour is the right thing for you. In this modern IT environment, we offer you the possibility of a dual Bachelor of IT degree in the field of computer science or business information technology. This is a practice-integrated dual course of study in cooperation with the Technical University Nuremberg Georg Simon Ohm. The Computer Science or Business Informatics courses qualify for demanding tasks in the field of software development, provision and operation of IT systems and you complete the degree course with the Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.). Tasks and activities: The course takes about 3.5 years/7 semesters and is divided into several sections: The study units at the university alternate with the practical phases at the BA IT system house in Nuremberg and are interlinked. The study begins for the winter semester, you start at 01.09.2026 with a practical phase in the IT system house. You acquire the theoretical foundations at the university during your studies and use the practical phases to gain first practical experience in one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and to immerse yourself in exciting IT projects. You work in a practical way in complex thematic areas of computer science or business informatics and are intensively supervised and accompanied by experienced experts and specialist specialists from the IT system house. During your studies, optimal care takes place and contact persons are at your disposal at any time with advice and action. After successfully completing your studies, you start your career in an exciting area of responsibility in software development or IT operations in the IT system house.
