You know the requirements of the energy market and translate them into marketable digital solutions. With your professional understanding of Energy Management and Microgrids, you support product managers and development teams in developing future-oriented products for the German market with a perspective on Europe. In this role, you combine energy-economic know-how with product understanding and technical connectivity. You bring market and regulatory knowledge, evaluate relevant use cases and support professionally sound and economically viable software solutions.

Your tasks You analyze market trends, regulatory developments and customer needs in the energy market in Germany – with a view to Europe. You translate technical and regulatory requirements into specific requirements for digital products and software solutions. You support product managers, product owners and development teams in defining, prioritizing and validating use cases, features and specialist concepts. You bring your technical understanding of Energy Management, Microgrids and decentralized energy systems into the development of marketable digital solutions. You evaluate solutions in terms of professional suitability, cost-effectiveness, scalability and integration ability. You evaluate technical relationships and solutions – for example in the context of EMS, SCADA, communication protocols, as well as the integration of producers, stores and controllable consumers – in terms of professional suitability, cost-effectiveness, scalability and integration ability. You communicate with specialist areas, technology, management and external stakeholders.

Complete studies in electrical engineering, energy engineering, industrial engineering, computer science or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in the energy industry, in the environment of energy management, microgrids, smart grid or digital energy products Funded understanding of decentralised energy systems, of microgrid modes of operation and energy-economic conditions, in particular EnWG, §14a, EEG and relevant European requirements Experience in transferring technical requirements to implementable product or software requirements Good understanding of relevant technologies, standards and interfaces such as EMS, SCADA, IEC 61850, Modbus, OPC UA and MQTT Impressed communication strength and safe occurrence in exchange with internal and external stakeholders You already use AI tools or are interested in developing yourself in this area Very good German and good English skills
