During your internship, you will work with the team Wasserkreis. The team deals with the cooling development of the new generation of car engines and the hybrid drivetrain. All components of the water circuit are developed and tested by us from the electric water pump, the thermal management, the line laying in the vehicle. The test is carried out on the full motor or Component test stand and in the vehicle and secures the components as a single part and in the overall system motor or Vehicle off. In the course of increasing energy efficiency and sustainability requirements, existing heating circuits are to be systematically analyzed and optimized. The aim of this thesis is to develop a data-based approach to increasing the efficiency of a real heating system by modeling, simulation and algorithmic optimization. Processing and evaluation of measurement data (temperature, flow, pressure, energy consumption etc.)

Development and validation of prediction models to predict relevant system sizes
