The “International, Mission & Training” (IM&T) department is close to the Bundeswehr and supports exercises and operations at the tactical and operative level. In addition to consulting, development and support for individual IT solution approaches of specific military projects, we offer the Bundeswehr expertise in the field of IT that is near-use.
Your profile:
- Complete training or studies in the IT environment
- About 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including server or storage certification
- Experience with tactical communication systems of the Bundeswehr and military task structures, knowledge of architecture requirements of the BWI, Bundeswehr (ADMBw) and NATO (NAF) as well as experiences in Bundeswehr or NATO projects
- High communication capability and pleasure in direct customer contact
- Bundeswide readiness for mostly one week missions, class B licence
- Very good German and good English skills
Your tasks:
- Self-employed guidance of German Federal Armed Force IT specialists in support services at the Federal Armed Forces IT training centre in Lohheide and also on site at the service, training and deployment sites of the Bundeswehr
- Planning and implementation of IT support of the Bundeswehr on site in exercises, equivalent obligations and operations in Germany and abroad
- Self-configuring and installation of complex server systems by default
- Cooperation and regular exchange of experience with architecture and product managers to take account of practical aspects
- Creation and maintenance of documentation
