Dual Study Programme in Social Work (B.A.) - SeWo GmbH

Start your future in the field of social work together with the SeWo GmbH and the IU International University (IU). In dual studies, you combine practical work in the company with courses on two days a week on campus. Interactive teaching materials help you to deepen your knowledge. With SeWo Supported living, people are at the heart of their individual needs and goals. Since 2012, we have been accompanying parents, relatives and legal advisors: in doing so, we are helping people with cognitive impairments to provide reliable and demand-oriented support. Our goal is to promote self-employment and social participation – in a familiar community environment. Through our round-the-clock assignment, you know your family member well lifted – and gain free space for the beautiful moments of coexistence. This leaves more time for the beautiful moments together.

Start your studies at the IU with (special) abitur, a qualified professional degree or as a national. Technicians:in/operator:in You can prove German skills according to language level B2 You want a meaningful task where you can really move something You want a social and human activity You have basic IT skills (e.g. for handling our documentation software BeWoPlaner) At best you already have professional experience in working with people who have a mental impairment You have at best driving license and your own vehicle Career prospects: As a student:in SeWo you collect valuable practical experiences and gain a direct insight into the working world. With good performance and successful cooperation, we offer you the opportunity to take over. A change to another work area we offer is also possible after your studies.
