CAD Design Engineer Power Electronics (m/f/d)

As part of an early and well-structured follow-up planning, we are looking for a dedicated CAD designer (m/w/d), who is looking for real product responsibility – from the design of entire power electronics modules to prototype construction to series transfer.

Integrated module design: independent mechanical development, design and detailing of complete power electronics modules as well as their components and housing structures. Production-oriented design (DFM): construction with a strong focus on tool- and injection-molded design, material selection and precise tolerance management. Hands-on Prototyping: Accompanying first pattern structures and validations in direct coordination with the in-house production and assembly on site. CAD & data flow: creation of 3D models, 2D drawings and piece lists in Autodesk Fusion as well as their structured transfer to the ERP system. Interface work: Close, partnership cooperation on a common office area with manufacturing, purchasing and quality assurance.

Qualification: Studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or training as a technician / technical product designer (m/w/d). Experience: At least approx. 3 years of well-founded practice in the 3D CAD design with a clear focus on power electronics (experience with injection molding/housing design advantageous). CAD knowledge: Safe handling of a modern 3D CAD system (ideally Autodesk Fusion or changers from SolidWorks, NX, Creo, Inventor etc.). Manufacturing knowledge: Funded understanding of tool and production-oriented design as well as building space restrictions. Personality & languages: team-oriented, communicating creator with enthusiasm for a growing technology environment; very good German and good English.
