SAP Process Coordinator ABAP Development (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the sustainable design, development and continuous development of applications in the SAP environment using ABAP and ABAP Objects (including reports, BAPIs, enhancements and user experiences). The independent design, implementation and support of modern interfaces (e.g. RFC, IDoc, OData and Webservices) are part of your task. You independently design and implement new programs, functions, interfaces and processes and ensure their smooth integration into the existing system landscape. When you adopt, analyze and evaluate technical requirements, you work closely with the specialist areas and derive robust technical solutions. You advise and support the specialist departments in the optimization and further development of business processes and SAP applications. The responsible quality assurance of your code including debugging, performance optimization, code reviews and the application of best practices is of course for you. In addition, prepare data for reporting and analysis purposes and provide a structured documentation of processes and programs. You actively participate in projects, take over (partial) project management and coordinate development tasks efficiently and target-oriented. The technical coordination with external service providers as well as the control and quality assurance of external development services are also within your responsibility. Through knowledge sharing, professional support from colleagues and the implementation of user training, you contribute to the sustainable development of competence in the team.

You have a completed 4-year study of (economic) informatics, economics, engineering, or a comparable qualification. Long-standing and well-founded experience in ABAP development including ABAP Objects in the SAP environment – ideally with SAP S/4HANA – will award you. You have very good knowledge of modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData and common interfaces (including REST, SOAP, IDoc and RFC). Experience with extension concepts such as BAdIs and Enhancements as well as a fundamental understanding of SAP Fiori/UI5 belong to your professional profile. In addition, you have well-founded know-how in software architecture (e.g. Clean Core), performance optimization and ensuring high code quality (Clean Code, Code Reviews, ATC). Reliable experience in requirements analysis, technical conception and implementation of complex development requirements will surely bring you into practice. You have demonstrable practical experience in the (partial) project management as well as the ability to guide, guide and mentor developers. Good knowledge of business processes and a strong understanding of current SAP and IT trends complete your professional profile. A highly pronounced analytical and process-oriented thinking as well as an independent, structured and self-responsive way of working. Team skills, communication strength and knowledge of German and good English (min. B2 in word and writing) complete your profile.
