Main responsibility for a scalable, stable and secure network infrastructure Additional backup role for the IT system administrator (server operation) Focus on stable operation, security by design and auditability (ISO 27001, NIS2) Operation and further development of Germany-wide network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, perimeter) Working on a comprehensive renewal project of the German Network Infrastructure Ensure availability, security and traceability in network operation Definition, implementation and maintenance of technical network and security standards Segmentation, access controls, authentication and monitoring Central logging, configuration backups and recovery mechanisms Compliance with change, release and documentation processes 2nd level support with focus on network Backup support in server operation (e.g. Windows/Linux server, base-troubleshooting) On-site activities during commissioning, project implementation and escalated 2nd level support Analysis and sustainable troubleshooting Special responsibility for defined network and security systems Cooperation in IT projects and support for internal and external audits

Complete training as a specialist system integration or comparable Multiannual experience in network operation, ideally with security focus Good to very good knowledge in Aruba (Central), Sophos (XGS), Fortinet (FortiGate) or comparable CISCO environments Basic to good knowledge in server operation (Windows and/or Linux) Understanding Structured Operation, Change and Security Processes Analytical, structured and team-oriented working Good knowledge of German and English Travel readiness for about 25% of working hours
