Head of Energy Solutions and Corporate Development (m/w/d)

We – the Stadtwerke Villingen-Schwenningen GmbH – are a customer-oriented service company in the region and provide the inhabitants of the large district town of Villingen-Schwenningen and some surrounding municipalities with electricity, gas, water and heat. We are a member of the Thüga Group and networked throughout Germany.

They lead the two areas of energy solutions and business development in personal union and develop them further. They lead the field of energy solutions with the heat and energy services departments. In particular, you are responsible for the strategic thrusts “on the way to the green zero” heat supply (further development green book), PV, distribution of decentralised energy solutions or exacto among the aspects of sustainability, economics and existence. They establish the SVS as competent contact persons and service providers. You will also lead the business development sector with the strategic and IT departments as well as the law, management systems and processes, internal auditing and risk management and corporate communication departments and establish them as a service provider within the Group. They shall ensure the efficiency and effectiveness, compliance with the objectives of the area, implementation of the strategic objectives and plans (measurement and economic plan, etc.), compliance with the budgets and the contribution of the results of the two areas. In cooperation with the management, you cooperate in strategy development for your area and for the entire company and organize, guide and monitor the regular, court-proof organisation of the areas. Prioritize and arrange topics, projects and resources (personal and budget). You are responsible for the organisational units and their employees.

We expect a successfully completed master's degree, preferably technically and e.g. Electrical engineering, supply technology or energy system technology with a focus on energy or equivalent studies (e.g. Diploma Uni, Staatsexamen). Proofable leadership experience (at least five years) and multiannual professional experience in business development and strategy as well as relevant professional experience in managing innovation and change processes. You should also be able to demonstrate project and budget responsibility. Embossed analytic conceptual skills with implementation strength and expert enforcement should be part of your competence profile. Binding occurrence is assumed as well as an independent and responsible procedure. Above-average engagement as well as a high team capability, reliability, target orientation, motivation and flexibility with a passion for technology and the task should be of course for you. In addition, you think strategically and can express yourself communicatively on different hierarchy levels. They have the strength of decision-making and enforcement, target orientation as well as an appreciation and consistent leadership style with high social competence.
