As a Senior Manufacturing Planner / Demand & Supply Planner (m/w/x) in the team Disposition and Control, as a central link between manufacturing and customer needs, you actively contribute to our production success and, together with around 10 employees, ensure that our production can work at any time with a realistic, efficient and customer-friendly plan. Your role Planning and control of short, medium and long-term capacities for selected value flows / production areas incl. Early detection of stock-out and capacity risks and derivation of action plans

regular production of supply and sales plans as part of the S&OP process in close cooperation with Sales, Supply Chain and Production

Construction, maintenance and optimization of inventory and recovery parameters and monitoring of production fine planning (SAP PP/DS) and transition from the medium/long term supply plan (e.g. IBP/SNP) to the short-term PP/DS plan

strategic development of value flows in the field of mechanics – from planning to implementation on the shop floor – incl. Definition and traceability of relevant KPIs (capacities, utilisation, service level, stocks)

Building and developing standards for production planning, control and capacity determination in SAP, e.g. MM, PP, PP/DS or IBP, as well as creating sound analyses and reports

Designing and developing SAP S/4HANA, SAP planning tools and MES systems to establish international standards in network and capacity planning

active participation in digitalization, optimization and layout and work planning projects, including the introduction of own ideas and participation in daily shopfloor rounds, as well as close cooperation with production, logistics, sales and IT to continuously improve processes, data quality and transparency along the end-to-end planning

a successfully completed study in the field of mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, economic engineering, BWL with focus on SCM / logistics / production or comparable discipline

relevant professional experience in the planning, control and optimization of manufacturing and supply processes, ideally in an industrial environment

sound knowledge of end-to-end planning processes (capacity planning, network planning/optimisation, S&OP, inventory and production control)

detectable experience in the line or Working with complex digitalization projects in production as well as deep SAP knowledge, especially in handling S&OP but also with, for example, S/4HANA, MM, PP, PP/DS, MRP, ATP or IBP

very good knowledge in Excel; Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and PowerQuery to create analytics and dashboards

pronounced analytical and conceptual skills, pleasure in processes and their optimization, as well as a structured, methodological and self-responsive operation

high team and communication skills, binding appearance and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation with production, logistics, sales and IT

very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
