With external sales of around 12.24 billion euros and around 76,000 employees (including self-employed retailers and nearly 3,400 trainees), the EDEKA Minden-Hannover is the largest sales of a total of seven regional companies in the cooperatively organized EDEKA association. It has existed since 1920, extends from the Dutch to the Polish border and includes Bremen, Lower Saxony, a part of East Westfalen-Lippe, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin and Brandenburg. More than three quarters of the nearly 1,500 markets are in the hands of around 640 independent EDEKA merchants. The group of companies includes several production plants, including the bread and baked goods production Schäfer's, the production for meat and sausage products peasantry and the traditional fish processing company Hagenah in Hamburg. With this dual course of six semesters you will become a wholesaler or wholesaler of goods, raw materials and services on the national market. Theory and practical phases: In the practical part of your studies, you are going through departments such as purchasing, sales, personnel, marketing or accounting. You don't just watch, but you can prove your skills right away. The theoretical phases take place at the Leibniz Fachhochschule in Hannover. Then you are directly fit for a responsible position in one of our large shops. Working hours: You have a 5-day week and profit from a flexible and modern work-life balance. Your start: During the introduction phase, you will learn all trainees and the varied EDEKA world in fun activities.
