In the 'Sustainable Infrastructure' section, the '̍Green Production & Resource Management' department focuses on climate protection and resource conservation in our production plants. The core tasks of the department include ensuring a sustainable, cost-optimized energy supply and energy production, safeguarding our energy saving goals by optimizing energy efficiency and constantly developing the energy management system, developing our disposal strategy and reducing our water consumption by closing water circuits. For Mercedes-Benz Group AG and Mercedes-Benz Operations, the central strategy & method team 'Green Production Control' manages the further development of the target images & strategies, the further development of the key figures system and the pursuit of the target achievement via all KPIs as well as the cross-departmental projects. The 'Green Production' internship covers a wide range of tasks that provide a comprehensive insight into our sustainable production: Support the development of target images and strategies

Preparation and follow-up of workshops and management appointments

Support in the further development of the KPI system and the reporting & monitoring of target achievement

Support the internal key account for the group-wide central database for sustainability measures

tuning customer requirements for the further winding of the Power BI dashboard

Participation in the further development of digitalization

Self-education and coordination of IT project activities in the international environment

Participation in internal and external ESG reporting

The activity can start from March/April 2026.

Degree in Business Informatics/Ingenieurswesen/Economics or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, Azure DevOps beneficial

Knowledge of agile methods

Commitment and Target Striving

Embossed communication and team skills

Analytical thinking as well as strategic and independent working
