Compulsory internship in the field of crash test and pedestrian protection (f|m|d), winter semester 2025/26

With the ADAC you have a practical partner that offers you such a working environment and allows insights into practice in various areas. You can apply your knowledge directly from your studies and contribute to helping other people. They accompany the test engineers in the daily test operation. In the production, assembly and repair of test setups, you also work. You are involved in the preparation of test vehicles and test equipment. They support the marking of the test vehicles with a laser-assisted marking device. The technical integration tests on vehicle fronts according to the EuroNCAP test protocol and ECE Directive R127 will be conducted. You can also help with the setup, control and evaluation of high-speed video cameras. During the planning, supervision and execution of customer-specific orders at global level, you assist. Actively help you carry out vehicle crash, child seat and whiplash tests.

You are a full-time student (m/w/d) of vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, economic/ingenieurs or a comparable degree program. Ideally, you have basic knowledge of vehicle technology/safety, e.g. through technical training. A reliable, responsible and structured way of working is yours. Your strengths include communication and team skills and flexibility. The duration of the compulsory internship is at least 18 weeks. In addition, you have the license class B.
