Head of Asset Management (m/f/d)

With the Schluchsee as Germany's largest battery and five pumped storage power plants, we make an important contribution to a stable power supply. The asset management department is responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the entire asset management area with around 55 employees and reports directly to the technical board. Development and implementation of the asset management strategy to ensure high availability and sustainable operation of hydropower plants Leadership and further development of the team Responsibility for life cycle planning, downtime planning and optimization of systems and properties You think beyond existing structures and drive the optimization of our assets forward with creative solutions Responsibility for effective stakeholder management including communication with internal and external partners as well as authorities, active representation of energy policy corporate interests in relevant specialist bodies and regular, transparent reporting to shareholders Responsibility for investment and maintenance projects from planning to project transfer Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Development of internal standards and quality standards Risk identification and assessment and development of risk mitigation measures Implementation of processes for continuous improvement and performance monitoring of assets Presentation of digitalization incl. AI and security of IT security Budget responsibility and resource management

Must-Have: Complete studies in engineering, industrial engineering or comparable qualifications Multiannual experience in asset management, ideal in the field of energy/water power Representative leadership with experience in leadership and inspiration of teams as well as in the development of strategies Analytical and entrepreneurial thinking combined with the ability to conceptually and pragmatically portray their own ideas and goals Enforcement and organisation skills as well as pronounced communication skills Knowledge of risk management, life cycle management and process optimization Very good German knowledge, English knowledge of advantage Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of information security Basic knowledge of occupational safety and safety Safe handling of relevant software and IT systems
