Technical Claim Manager

In this role you shape the professional handling of claims, disadvantages and shortcomings actively participate in our district heating projects. You bring technical clarity into complex facts, creates transparency at the interfaces of construction and purchasing, making an important contribution to economically successful projects. With your expertise, you also participate in the further development of rules and processes and thus sustainably support the implementation of the Berlin Heat Exchange. You evaluate technical requirements, yields and deficiencies in our district heating projects and provide clarity in complex situations. You analyze causes and changes during the project and guide traceable, well-founded reviews. You keep claim-related costs in mind and prepare them transparently for project teams and decision-makers. You use and interpret technical rules, contracts and invitations to tender and use them safely in practice. You are the central contact person for incoming deficiencies, structure them and accompany the further clarification together with purchasing and specialist areas. You work closely and trustfully with building management, purchasing and other stakeholders and bring perspectives together. You are introducing your ideas to continuously improve processes, regulations and performance directories and avoid future conflicts.

You have a degree in the technical field (e.g. engineering, utility technology, civil engineering, mechanical engineering) or a comparable discipline. (Muss) You have gained experience in the project environment – e.g. in infrastructure construction, plant construction or in the energy industry. You have already worked with supplements, performance changes or technical reviews – or you have the motivation to work on this topic. You can analyze and illustrate complex technical content in a structured manner. You prefer structured, carefully and solution-oriented and keep an overview even in challenging situations. You like to work in exchange with different disciplines and communicate clearly and appreciateably. You have very good German knowledge on at least C1 level.
