Occupational Safety Specialist (m/w/d)

Our client is a family-run company in the 4th generation, which is one of the market leaders in the field of waste management. For an affiliated subsidiary of the nationwide group operating in the field of pollutant remediation at buildings, we are looking for a new specialist in occupational safety (m/w/d) at the next possible time.

The security for the employees is the A and O for our client. As a security specialist, you are responsible not only for the creation of risk assessments and operating instructions, but also create your own image on site at the office workstation or at the construction sites to identify potential risks and develop appropriate security measures. In this function, you have the opportunity to fully integrate yourself in the further development and creation of standards in the field of occupational safety and safety. Your ideas are heard and appreciated. Consultation and support in the organisation of occupational safety and implementation of the laws and regulations for the prevention of accidents Safety control of facilities, construction sites & technical equipment Consultation and support in the implementation of SGU training Consulting and support in implementing management systems Implementation of internal SGU audits and preparation of external SGU audits

Training for the occupational safety specialist in accordance with ASiG and DGUV Regulation 2 Experience in implementing labour law laws and regulations Experience in implementing management systems Understanding the technologies and workflows in the field of pollutant remediation are advantageous Ideally, you already have experience with the technical rules for hazardous substances (TRGS 519 & TRGS 521), but these are not absolutely necessary Good knowledge of MS-Office driving licence class III or B readiness to travel for inspections of premises and external construction sites within Germany (1-2 visits per quarter)
