Head of the Operations and Situation Center Division (m/f/d)

As a specialist field manager, you are responsible for the overall strategic and operational responsibility for operational planning, operational control and operational refurbishment in the Crisis Management & Security business unit. You run around 60 employees in the 24/7 operation of the security control center and employees of the deployment planning. In doing so, you will ensure a legally secure and reliable operation and ensure appropriate decisions in complex and safety-critical locations throughout the BVG network. Responsibility for coordination of internal forces and external forces on behalf of the BVG, as well as the acceptance and processing of emergency calls and other security-relevant messages, including the video-based position assessments Intensive cooperation with police, fire brigade and other public authorities to coordinate operational procedures and clarify safety-related issues Development and enforcement of binding rules and regulations and the follow-up of operations for the continuous development of the BVG safety organisation Close coordination with internal areas to ensure a uniform approach in situations with increased safety requirements, including the control of internal information flows and decision-making
