Physician for assistance medicine for our worldwide ambulance service of ADAC Insurance (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the international medical clarification, diagnostics and assessment of the transportability of patients. In addition, the examination of the insurance cover takes into account the medical and insurance criteria in your area of responsibility. The determination of the respective minimum transport standard (e.g. ambulance flight) incl. the medicines and medical devices are part of your tasks. You take care of the medical coordination of the organization of complex transports. The provision of medical further treatment at the destination is also one of your tasks. You create internal medical advice and are responsible for the scouting of patients at the place of illness, as well as the medical billing and cost estimate examination. In addition, perform internal case analyses (quality control) in cooperation with Officials and airlines. The takeover of medical flight crews would be desirable.

You have an approbation. You are a specialist in a field of direct patient care. You worked in an intensive care unit for at least 6 months. An additional name in emergency and/or intensive medicine would be desirable. In addition, you have good Spanish and English skills. Other foreign languages in word and writing are advantageous. Good PC skills are part of your strengths. The willingness to work in the shift service until 23:00 (even on Sundays and holidays, no night shift) is not an obstacle to you. A strong team and communication skills is what distinguishes you. In addition, you have an independent, structured and targeted way of working. This job is particularly well suited for parttime employment in addition to medical work.
