WHY THE ROLE FOR YOU SPEAKING IS... You are the first contact for our employees in all matters of security. Through your, mainly administrative activity, you are responsible for a proper execution of security-relevant processes.

You monitor our building through video installations and manage access rights for employees, guests and external partners.

At alarm inputs, you coordinate external rescue and security services and carry out protective measures. You are also responsible for measures to prevent theft. In case of violations of the rule, you will secure evidence and write reports, observe suspects and intervene in criminal acts. If necessary, you will provide first aid and guide fire protection measures.

In addition, you secure critical conversations, perform control procedures incl. Reporting and perform service tasks such as the creation of instructors for employees, the management of fund items or supports onboarding.

For your tasks, you take full responsibility and continuously develop your knowledge and skills to continuously improve our security processes together in the team.

YOU KNOW WHAT? Ideally, you have successfully completed the subject examination according to §34a GewO and have additional qualifications in the fields of first aid and/or fire protection. You will preferably bring at least 2 years of professional experience in dealing with people and in administrative activities.

In order to fulfill the various tasks of the Security Guard, you are characterized by team skills, high performance and physical and psychological stress. In addition, you are ready to participate in our internal Zalando training courses such as communication bases, evacuation aids and first aid and fire protection and to learn how to use our safety technology.

It's easy for you to remember new software. You are looking forward to working with Google Workspace, various apps and web tools to have all processes in mind and document them correctly.

You are strong in communication and give your knowledge understandably, sustainably and adapted to the knowledge level of your colleagues. With your good knowledge of German in word and writing, you create error-free reports. Basic English knowledge on A2 level simplifies the communication in the team and enable an excellent security service.
