The Bundesbau One of the most exciting areas of work in the entire construction industry is Bundesbau. The Bundesbau in the BLB NRW is planning and building comparable to a large project management office, e.g. educational institutions and universities of applied sciences, administrative buildings, air-weapons, NATO airfields or special buildings of the federal police. As part of our team, you will develop state-of-the-art, exceptional and unique projects in NRW.

In the implementation of our projects, the focus is on the response to climate change. Sustainability in all its facets is best implemented in the building stock and in the new buildings. In future, our projects will be implemented with the BIM method. As a project manager in the Construction Management department of Bundesbau 2, you are responsible for civil and military construction measures of the federal government, e.g. functional and technically complex buildings of the Bundesanstalt für Immobilien, the Bundeswehr and the Technische Hilfswerk. You actively control the contents of the planning services of external planners within the department You combine the planning requirements for our external planners and define planning and award strategy You determine and supervise the award of external planning services You actively control large new construction projects in the areas of project management, according to AHO Issue 9 in project management and project control function The project is responsible for managing and controlling project team members with different disciplines (e.g. civil engineering, utility technology and electrical engineering) You are responsible for controlling (termines, costs, qualities, resources), data management and reporting to manage the construction projects. You are responsible for compliance with internal and external requirements (records, orders, standards) During the planning and execution, you take over the quality assurance of the services of the freelance workers and of the trade unions You coordinate and conduct internal and external consultations with engineering offices and executive firms as well as the BLB headquarters, the NRW High Financial Directorate and other stakeholders

You have a successfully completed degree (Diplom/Bachelor/Master) in the field of architecture. Further requirements: You can demonstrate at least 3 years of professional experience in HOAI performance phases 2 – 8 of object planning You provide information on the development and implementation of complex planning tasks and relevant relevant legal provisions (e.g. HOAI, VOB, VgV etc.) In addition to your high motivation, flexibility and orientation, you also have a strong linguistic competence Ideally, you have additional professional qualifications in the field of project management (DVP or A) Your profile is rounded off by knowledge and experience in building information modeling (BIM) – (requestable) You have a class B driver's license and the willingness to travel in NRW You have the willingness to carry out a safety review “Ü 2” under the safety review law NRW You provide reliable knowledge of German that corresponds at least to the language level C1 (flowing in word and writing).
