In the area of purchasing controlling, we are responsible for the business management of the production material and thus for the largest cost volume of MBC. We support purchasing from an economic point of view in achieving performance targets and advise on operational implementation. Our team “Control commercial control levers” consists of eight highly motivated and friendly employees and supervises the annual performance of the shopping area as part of operational planning, actual maintenance and target agreement. Together with our business partner, we optimize the production material in the aspects of CVP, inflation, empty costs, capacity measures, customs, semiconductors and raw material costs. The analysis of trends and developments, committee management, reporting and the development of efficiency opportunities complement our task profile. We are looking for reinforcement for our team in the control lever controlling and the area support. You are interested in a job whose work results are at the focus of management? These challenges include: Support for deviation analyses incl. Addressing additional disks against the background of current price developments

Support of our forecasts and the Mercedes-Benz Business Plan (MBBP) in planning and reporting of the control lever costs, preparation and coordination of the planning with our business partners

Processing of controlling-relevant facts of our purchasing centers: plausibility of additional costs, operational case advice for new business models regarding controlling/accounting inspections, creation of meaningful decision templates on single-sach behavior

Balance sheet assessment: Monitoring of the Center in the context of the provisions and delimitations, identification of special balance sheet items (e.g. IRFS16 balance sheet) and classification into the FC landscape, tracking of resetting customs/resolutions

Further development of the required system support: analysis of existing methodological, processual, system-side vulnerabilities in the overall process and initiation of process optimization

The activity can begin from June 2026.

Ideally you qualify for this job: Studies in the field of business or industrial engineering or a comparable degree course

Interest in interaction controlling/accounting

Very good knowledge of MS-Office

Analytical and Structured Thinking

Affinity in dealing with numbers

Own responsibility and independent work

Communication skills and sovereign occurrence

Ability to quickly work into complex topics
