Your mission: As Senior Expert VAT (m/w/d), you are the central contact person for all sales tax issues within the OBI Group and proactively design efficient processes.

Revenue Tax Expert: Care of the domestic and foreign corporations in all matters of turnover tax and management of sales tax projects including the coordination with external consultants Process Development & Digital Transformation: Development of sales tax-relevant business processes in national and cross-border trade and services, as well as active support in the digital transformation of processes in the sales tax sector Compliance & Tax Management: Development of revenue tax compliance processes and support in the implementation and further development of the Tax Compliance Management System for revenue tax purposes Examination Management & Representation: Creation and Review of Revenue Tax Year Statements, Accompanying Business and Revenue Tax Special Examinations and the Representation of the Company to Financial Management Internal cooperation: Close and proactive cooperation with various business areas (especially other tax departments, transfer pricing, accounting, legal, IT and all operational areas)

Qualification: Successfully deposited tax consultants Professional experience: Multiannual relevant professional experience, preferably in an internationally active tax consultancy company or in the tax department of an international group Revenue tax knowledge: knowledge of national and international turnover tax law and relevant project experience Working & Soft Skills: Proactive, structured and independent working methods as well as strong joy in finding solutions for complex sales tax issues Language knowledge: English knowledge in word and writing IT knowledge: Safe handling of MS Office and ideally experience with ERP systems and tax tools
