We are looking for a:n GIS Expert:in / Administrator:in (m/w/d) who is interested in learning new technologies and implementing ideas from the cloud-based geoinformation systems into reality. As part of the STRABAG Innovation & Digitalization you get the chance to bring the two technologies GIS & BIM closer together in a modern & creative environment! This position includes the following tasks: Responsible for the long-term technical operation and further development of the GIS system landscape in coordination with the Group departments Monitoring and administration of cloud-based Windows and Linux servers and Enterprise GIS systems Manage, maintain and secure the PostgreSQL database and participate in discussions on database architecture and planning Current bug analysis & process optimization, coordination of bugs & incidents and optimization of our cloud resources with internal & external stakeholders Development of Batch/Python programs for automation of workflows

University degree Geoinformatics or other sections of Computer Science and at least 3 years of professional experience Deep knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL) Knowledge of the operation and monitoring of an ArcGIS Enterprise System in the cloud (Microsoft Azure) Knowledge of Python Structured working, process-oriented thinking Willingness to learn, motivation and ability to work together Very good written and oral language skills in German & English
