Your competence area In your function, you support the Country Controller and the Controllership Team through the initiation and analysis of accounting-related data in cooperation with the Financial Service Center Team, including based in Krakau. They contribute to high-quality financial accounting and reporting. They assume the operational responsibility of tax-related issues for the German Aon Group. Taxes Support in the creation of tax returns and provisions for local CIT and commercial tax in cooperation with external tax advisors Preparation of tax packages in coordination with Aon Tax EMEA Coordination of local tax audits Creation and submission of all local VAT declarations Monitor the development of the German Aon Group on impact on VAT or CIT Financial accounting cooperation with the proper accounting in compliance with internal and external requirements; to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to corporate requirements according to US-GAAP and HGB Cooperation with the EMEA Finance Center (EFC) and the local RP&A department for timely data delivery Preparation of tax accounting Legal implementation of the monthly accounts Financial analysis Implementation of current standard financial analysis and improvement of the quality of accounting and reporting Monitoring of bookings processed by the Service Centers in Poland and India Monthly balance sheet analysis and continuous working capital / cash flow forecast (based on tax relevant topics) Your profile Degree in economics with a focus on taxes/finance 3-5 years of professional experience in the financial/tax sector in a similar position, preferably in a multinational company or in a tax or audit firm Funded tax knowledge (income and VAT law) Knowledge of the accounting and financing principles according to HGB, additional knowledge of the US-GAAP (incl.
