Leadership of four departments with associated international office locations, including three regional departments for financing local businesses and a global department for financing European/German companies investing in target markets of DEG New business, portfolio management and earnings management of the associated four departments to achieve the entrepreneurial growth goals Coordination of all DEG international offices Responsibility for the strategic orientation of the area and departments and coordination of further development as part of the top management Maintaining contacts to stakeholders and networks, in particular to our customers, other international financing partners and within the DEG and the KfW banking group

Multiannual relevant experience in international financing of enterprises in developing and emerging countries very good knowledge of local markets and the competitive environment and good knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements for risk management in the banking sector multiannual experience in leading highly qualified employees and in controlling and managing complex interdisciplinary teams high affinity for and experience with strategic and conceptual issues as well as a sense of political-strategic networking in the German funding environment Competence in strategic communication and in building and managing sustainable, resilient customer relationships (“relationship banking”) at top management level in international corporate customer business strong entrepreneurial and cross-sector basic attitudes within the meaning of the overall result English knowledge, very good knowledge of another foreign language (Spanish, French, etc.) are advantageous
